Fuzzy Logic
This is a sketch comedy show by what looked to be a group of friends just out of uni. There was a keyboard player at the side of the stage who played the pre-show music, as well as all the other music in the show. The show started with the US president being confused. Next was what happens when the chip van goes corporate, an ad for injury lawyers for you, some old codgers in the pub reminiscing about the good old days (of the 80s), a book pitch to a PC committee, a quick chat show, a mime murder mystery, getting a confession, phobics on a plane, returning an item to the shop and the finale, Bread – the musical.

The room was full on the night I attended and, sad to say, there were obviously some close personal friends in the front row who were laughing and clapping everything (including the empty stage a few times). The cast need to improve on their vocalising as a lot of the lines were mumbled or rushed through or worse, stepped on each others dialogue. I also felt a script editor was needed as a lot of the sketches went on too long and just petered out. On the whole, the rest of the audience enjoyed the show and there were even some kids in the audience (only a small about of swearing) who had a good time. Maybe if the team had done more rehearsal or I had seen the show later in the festival, I would have enjoyed myself more but for me the jokes were poorly delivered, too few and too far apart. The show is in the program as running for 90 minutes but only ran for 60.
