It’s the new year and that means that heats for the 2010 Raw Comedy Competition begin this month. The competition is open to all budding Australian comedians aged over 17 who haven’t earned over $500 from comedy (the full rules are on the Raw website).

Heats will be held all over Australia, culminating in the Grand Final to be held at the Melbourne Town Hall on the 11th of April (tickets for which are now available through Ticketmaster).
