It’s almost time for the 10th Annual Green Left Weekly Comedy Debate! Held on Saturday May 29th, this event is the fundraiser for the not for profit newspaper that ‘presents the views excluded by the big business media’.

Hosted by none other than Rod Quantock, the debaters will explore the topic ‘Tony Abbott is our Saviour’. Joining Rod on stage will be Catherine Deveny, Toby Halligan, Courtney Hocking, Mathew Kennealy, Trent McCarthy & Ben McKenzie. Live music will be provided by Tracey McNeil & Band prior to the debating and a bar & food will be available for all your nourishment and refreshment needs.

The debate will be held at the Brunswick Town Hall (Cnr. Sydney Rd & Dawson St) at 7:30pm. Tickets are $40 Solidarity, $25 waged & $12 concession and bookings can be made online here. Further information can be obtained from Sue Bolton (9639 8622 or 0413 377 978).
